I try putting an .mkv file on sony vegas 9, but it says it can’t be dropped here or something like that. Does anyone have the sony vegas codec for .mkv?

My TV doesn’t recognize the audio codec of some movies. I want to change it so it can be recognized. I also want to change the size of the image of another mkv, because the picture is deformed(the persons are taller, circles aren’t circles) and by deformed i meen streched.

Runnin vista.. Is there a program that will tell me, (its not in the file properties) and after that is there a program that will easily change the audio codec if needed?
